Free "Consider the Lilies" printable.

Happy Monday everyone. I think most of the country is starting to settle into spring, and in our house we are getting ready for Easter.

This time of the year reminds me of my Grandma and her favorite song "Consider the Lilies" (you can listen to it here). A few nights ago, I had that beautiful song in my head, so I was prompted to open my bible and read the verses that inspired the song.

Make all three shelves for $40. Box train bookshelf knock-off, with free building plans.

A few weeks ago, I was looking at the adorable, train themed boy's room at The Heathered Nest when I spotted a set of super cute box car bookshelves. DIY black and cream bike make-over

Most of the country is apparently covered in snow right now, or so the news tells me. Here is Arizona, we are flirting with Spring. Indulge me for a minute; this is the time of the year we get to brag to the rest of the country. The temperatures have been in the high 70's and it could not be more beautiful outside. Trees are blooming, birds are singing, and the sidewalks are filled with bicycles, scooters, skates, you name it. With this beautiful weather, I've been begging hinting to my husband that I want a bicycle.

Last week I shared my Jordan dresser knock-off with you, and I promised to show you how I got the textured, raised grain look on the drawer fronts. If you like the texture of old weathered wood, but don't have any of the real stuff laying around. no worries. I made my drawer faces from off the shelf 1 x 8's. A few simple steps make a big difference.

Make your own DIY chandelier using inexpensive craft foam

I'm a great boy mom. Despite the fact that I am a licensed hairstylist and have been known to sport 6" heels from time to time, I'm really not a girly-girl. When it comes to raising kids, I do much better with mudpies and monsters than glitter and emotions.
