Hi everyone! I am beyond thrilled to introduce you to my new friends at Rafterhouse

Rafterhouse is a company located here in Phoenix that specializes in taking older, outdated homes and completely transforming them. Yes, there are a lot of "flippers" out there, but I guarantee you have not seen homes like these before. I am so inspired by their work, I HAD to share their latest remodel with you. They aren't paying me a dime, I truly just had to share with you all!

This is the outside of the Vermont residence before Rafterhouse got their hands on it.

And after. Such a beautiful face lift! Love the mix of textures.

We live in Arizona people. Valley of the Sun. Of course this house needs a swimming pool!

As pretty as the exterior is, you ain't seen nothing yet. Let's take a look at the kitchen.

Do you see those beams?! I heart. You also get a glimpse of the totally awesome, reclaimed pantry door.

Who ever does their staging sure knows what they're doing. They did a perfect job of making this home look cool, yet homey.

This has got to be one of the coolest bathrooms I've ever seen.

Perfect, little, planked powder room.

Who wouldn't love this mudroom?

Anyone else's eyes go straight for that chippy, metal chair?

Ready for the money shot? My favorite part of the whole house are a set of AMAZING, sliding carriage doors leading to the master bath. They were salvaged from a garage in LaJolla, California.

"Would it be weird if I took a bath? Yeah, that would be weird." Name that movie.

I have one complaint about living in Arizona (no, it isn't 120 degree summers). Like I mentioned in my Adding Window Trim post, Phoenix is a sea of stucco and beige. It is so hard to find a home here with any personality, or even one that doesn't just blend into the dirt. The people at Rafterhouse have blown that stereotype out the door! I can get over how much I love this house. Its like the designer reached into my brain and pulled out my exact dream home. It couldn't be more "me".

Make sure to stop by their website and look at some of their other jaw-dropping makeovers. Photos courtesy of myrafterhouse.com

Let's be friends! Follow along, so you never miss a post

  1. My word - gorgeous! You know I have a thing for repurposing, especially old doors and windows. Those are amazing. OH - and THE SINK! I love it. These are some seriously talented folks. Thanks for sharing. xoxo

  2. That house is so beautiful! I was born and raised in Chandler and the houses never used to bother me. Then I lived in North Dakota and Nebraska while my husband was in the military and we just moved back. After living places with grass grass, pretty trees, and houses with character, I now hate the brown on tan with desert landscaping sprinkled in there. Phoenix definitely needs more houses like this!

  7. First, Run Fatboy, Run. And I would never tell a soul if you took a bath...it would not be weird in that one. It is gorgeous! WOW! This just makes me want to move from Chicago to Pheonix like now. Just pick up and leave. That might be weird though. Thanks so much for sharing these photos. These guys are great!
