I have so much cool stuff to tell you guys!!! If you follow me on Facebook or Instagram (which you should), you got a little taste of some of the recent awesomeness. I'm able to keep providing ideas and share new project with you guys largely thanks to sponsorship from brands that I love and use. You guys are important to me. I don't want to steer you wrong. I have never and will never endorse a company or product that I don't personally use and stand behind. Basically, if I wouldn't recommend something to my best friend, you won't see it on this blog.

I'm totally in love with the current bohemian trend, especially in home decor. My house is more on the traditional/mid-century side, but I've been dying to work a little boho in. Last weekend I got my crafter on and made a fun leather tassel throw pillow.

You know that one friend of yours who has everything together? The one who always looks flawless and everything she touches is perfection. That's my friend Alex from AVE Styles. Her style is the perfect mix of modern and traditional with a healthy does of boho mixed in.

Welcome back friends! Thanks so much for all the positive feedback on the renter friendly, faux fireplace I helped my buddy Kinda build. You guys know how to make a girl feel special. Make sure to check out Part One: Hearth and Part Two: Fireplace to get caught up to this point in the build. Today I'll show you how I tackled the over-mantle, or decorative part above the fireplace.

Are you guys ready for the good stuff?! Yesterday I showed you how to build the hearth, or base of a movable faux fireplace. Today, I'm sharing the star of the show- the fireplace itself! Since this fireplace/over-mantle set up doesn't need a chimney or flue, you can place it on pretty much any wall you'd like.

I am so excited to finally share my newest project with you guys! My friend Kindra and I have been slowly working away between naps and homework for months, but her gorgeous new fireplace, hearth, and over-mantle are finally done! You've probably seen electric fireplaces before, but you've never seen a set-up like this!
It may not look like it, but this faux fireplace is renter friendly! You can separate the three pieces and take the whole thing with you when you move. All that will be left behind are a few screw holes, which can be easily filled. The overmantle can easily support a 55" TV. Honestly, you would have no idea the whole fireplace wasn't "built in" unless I told you so.

Most of you guys know I live in the Phoenix area. I actually live in the quaint suburb called Gilbert. Downtown Gilbert is full of cute little shops and yummy restaurants; a totally fun place to hang out. Last week, I had the chance to cruise on over to downtown and had one of the best girl's night out ever! Some of my blogging buddies and I were invited to The Art House, where we got to play around and create our own piece of art.
