"Rivets? Like as in Rosie the Riveter? Why would I need to know that?" You may be asking yourself. Holy crap! Rivets are my new favorite thing people!

Best Birthday Gift Ever!

He has me drive, turns on navigation on his phone, and laughs as I follow the little voice telling me when to turn, while I shout out guesses of where we may be going.
This is the Noftsger Hill Inn and it is SOOO cool! It was originally a schoolhouse built in 1907, and now its a bed and breakfast.
Eventually, we turn off the highway in Globe, one of my favorite destinations for "pickin". I follow the navigation until I hear "Your destination is on the right."

My Cool New Friends: Rafterhouse Tour
Thursday, June 5, 2014
Hi everyone! I am beyond thrilled to introduce you to my new friends at Rafterhouse.
Rafterhouse is a company located here in Phoenix that specializes in taking older, outdated homes and completely transforming them. Yes, there are a lot of "flippers" out there, but I guarantee you have not seen homes like these before. I am so inspired by their work, I HAD to share their latest remodel with you. They aren't paying me a dime, I truly just had to share with you all!

building plans
I swore I wouldn't, but I've totally jumped on the mid-century/ danish bandwagon. Honestly, I've always been attracted to more masculine looks and I've come to appreciate the engineering in the minimalist design. I've actually had this chair built for a couple weeks. "Then why haven't we seen it?" you may be asking.
But No Elephants!
Thursday, May 29, 2014
"Elephants huh? What's with the elephants?"
Over the last year and a half of blogging, I have had a few comments about the brass elephants that appear in many photos. Although I do think they look cool, there is a bigger reason why they pop up so frequently.
Guest Post- Washi Tape Temporary Wallpaper
Friday, May 16, 2014
Kayla from Home Coming is back to share another great project! This one is pretty darn awesome! #whydidntithinkofthat
_____________________________________________________________
Hi Pneumatic Friends! I'm here today to share my latest project as part of our Master Suite Remodel. We've finished up the majority of our remodel and are working on bringing in some of our personality into the space's decor.
Justin (aka. The Hubster) is building us a custom closet that we designed. In our new closet, I have one bare wall where I've hung modern hooks to hang my necklaces and scarves from. I've been toying with the idea of covering this wall with wallpaper, or painting it with a fun patterned stencil, but I just can't commit. I'm terrible at stenciling (like really, really bad) and wallpaper is such a commitment.
So I needed a temporary solution, and what better to use than Washi Tape!?
DIY Hairpin Legs
Monday, May 12, 2014
Hi everyone! I shared my Mid-Century Industrial Storage makeover with you last week and promised a hairpin leg tutorial. Did you know hairpin legs are hot right now? I know, my husband was shocked as well. He doesn't quite understand the huge Mid-Century craze that is going around right now. I love hairpin legs because of the vintage/industrial look the give something.
You guys, you have to try making these! Don't be scared because they are metal! They were really so easy to make, and cost a fraction of buying them pre-made.
