My husband and I have done all the work ourselves, which means we've had to squeeze work hours into nights and weekends.

I'm usually a HUGE procrastinator, but I' actually planning ahead for once in my life. I just happen to know that my boys will be getting a few small collectibles for Christmas next week. (I have an "in" at the North Pole). Until now, I've been the mean mom and haven't really caved on collectibles like Tsum Tsums and Shopkins. I have a low tolerance for clutter, so the idea of welcoming dozens of little tchotchkes into my house gives me hives.

Christmas is less than a week away. Are you in a total scramble mode yet? I got a late start on my decorations this year. I sweet talked my husband into helping set up the Christmas tree a few days ago, but we didn't have a tree skirt to put on it. If you're a procrastinator like me, no worries! I've got an easy tutorial that will give you something I think is even better than a boring old skirt.

I chose my blog name, Pneumatic Addict, after being inspired by my favorite power tool, the brad nailer. A very close second is the impact driver. I love those little guys! I can honestly say I use an impact driver on almost every project. If you're interested in learning what's the difference between an impact driver and a power drill, check out this blog post all about drills

I currently own 5 different impact drivers, all from different manufacturers. If you are on a budget, I'd hands down recommend the new brushless impact from Ryobi.

How to make a West Elm knock-off hanging planter from scrap plywood

I love me some West Elm! I hit up their website all the time looking for "inspiration". In fact, I actually just built an 8 ft long console table for my sister that was influenced by a West Elm piece. Although I love the modern West Elm style, I'm not a fan of their prices.

It's been years since their family had a house they could call their own. They finally have been able to buy a gorgeous new home and settle down close to me.

I shared my hall bathroom makeover with you guys last week and the response has been great! Thank you guys! I'm glad you liked it. I was able to complete that transformation in one weekend, but I'm currently working on a MASSIVE project that is going to take me significantly longer.

About a month ago my husband and I started a "down to the studs" remodel of our master bath. It's not been easy friends, but I'm convinced that it will be worth it. Up to this point, we've been working on things that I need my husband's help with (demo, framing, plumbing, etc.) so we pretty much only get one day a week to work on it.

If you've seen any of my recent Instagram Stories, you'll know that we are neck deep in a total, down to the studs remodel of our master bathroom. It's going to be SO good guys! I'm really close to sharing the first part with you. I promise I will have the first reveal up soon!

In the meantime, we only have one other bathroom in the house, which means my husband and I are going to be sharing the hall bath with my kids for the next couple of months. I decided to give the space a  much needed, quick update. The biggest goal was to cover the walls and make clean-up easier (anyone with little boys knows what I'm talking about).

Oh man! Last Friday officially marked 2 years since we bought our new house. It took a couple of months to finish remodeling the kitchen so we didn't move in right away, but still, time has flown by! When we first walked through the house, I had big plans in my head. I had plans to replace the obvious stuff like the dated appliances and chipping countertops, but I also wanted to upgrade things other people may not have noticed. My husband thought it was ridiculous to replace "perfectly fine" doors just because I didn't like the pattern. I mean, how much difference can the shape of a door make? A big one my friends

Luckily there are ways to fix furniture scratches and scuffs.

5 essential tools to bring camping to make life easier simple tips

Labor day is this weekend friends, and that means for many of you it's the last chance to go make friends with the Great Outdoors before fall hits. One of the benefits of living in Arizona is that we get to enjoy camping from about April to October. I bet you didn't know almost half of Arizona is actually covered in mountains and pine trees (yes, seriously). The majority of the Arizona population lives in Phoenix or Tucson, smack dab in the desert, so that's the image most of us get when we think of AZ. Surprisingly, although I live in a Phoenix suburb, I'm only about 1-2 hours from mountain lakes and cool breezes.

Both my husband and I love to go camping. In fact, we actually met on camping trip with mutual friends. We also both love tools! On our last trip to the mountains, we brought several tools to make life away from home a little easier. I put together a list of 5 extremely helpful tools you definitely need to bring with you when you camp.

Have you noticed how almost every tools is battery powered these days? I'm kinda old school and typically reach for corded models. However, when I first spotted the Ryobi 18-Volt Cordless Router at The Home Depot ProSpective kick-off event earlier this year, I knew I had to get my hands on one!

Have you been thinking about buying a router? I love my old routers but admittedly. I'm always fighting the cords or struggling to keep the cords out of my way. I've been using the Ryobi Cordless router for a couple months now, and I've decided it's absolutely the best router for a beginner woodworker or DIYer - here's why.

Summer doesn't officially start for another week, but in our home, we've already been living the "summer life" for a while. We've been taking advantage of the mild evenings and eating on the patio as much as we can. Our last outdoor dining situation was looking pretty sad, so I finally built us a patio table that fits my design style much better.

Most of us in the southwest have a common view when we walk into the backyard - a massive concrete block wall. Although they are great for privacy and durability, they can look a little prison-yard-ish. My in-laws can grow just abut about anything, so I wanted to build them a cute, hanging garden to decorate their great wall of china, block fence. Drilling into concrete provides a new challenge, but is definitely do-able with the right tools. With the miles and miles of cinder block in Arizona, it's a skill I'm glad I learned.

Are you guys ready for the good stuff?! Yesterday I showed you how to build the hearth, or base of a movable faux fireplace. Today, I'm sharing the star of the show- the fireplace itself! Since this fireplace/over-mantle set up doesn't need a chimney or flue, you can place it on pretty much any wall you'd like.

How to make a renter friendly faux fireplace with overmantle that you can pick up and move.

I am so excited to finally share my newest project with you guys! My friend Kindra and I have been slowly working away between naps and homework for months, but her gorgeous new fireplace, hearth, and over-mantle are finally done! You've probably seen electric fireplaces before, but you've never seen a set-up like this!

It may not look like it, but this faux fireplace is renter friendly! You can separate the three pieces and take the whole thing with you when you move. All that will be left behind are a few screw holes, which can be easily filled. The overmantle can easily support a 55" TV. Honestly, you would have no idea the whole fireplace wasn't "built in" unless I told you so.

How to build a modern stacked plywood rhombus shaped table lamp

Wow! How is it February already!? Have you ever had a hard time getting back into the groove after taking some time off? I really enjoyed my break during the holidays and being totally honest with you, I was having the hardest time getting my work ethic back (which is very unlike me). I was raised to believe if you aren't working, you're being lazy and being lazy is worse than Nickleback.

The slump wasn't for lack of inspiration! I always have 100 ideas spinning in my head at any given moment and spent the first few weeks on the year pinning "to-do" items and sketching plans. I finally kicked my butt in gear and tackled a project I've been dying to try - a stacked plywood lamp. I love making lamps! I know electricity sounds scary, but they really are pretty easy. I made a video tutorial for my Ombre Concrete Lamp and we still use our Tapered X Lamps everyday on our nightstands in our bedroom.
