I was walking around my local Home Depot a couple weeks ago and I made a freaking awesome discovery! Apparently, my location has started carrying 3/4" thick, S4S Walnut!!! S4S stands for Surfaced on 4 Sides. That means the boards are already smooth, straight, and ready to work with. You don't have to have a planer or special equipment to be able to create something with my very favorite hardwood. |

You're probably thinking "I'm a woodworker. I don't need wrenches." False. Whether it's tightening carriage bolts on table legs, or driving lag screws, I've often found myself needing a wrench or two to get the job done. I recently was sent the new Husky Universal Combination Wrench sets and they motivated me to up my wrench game.

This is a good one guys! A little while back my friend Bethany from Reality Daydream asked a bunch of bloggers of YouTubers if we wanted to participate in a Wood Wall Art Challenge. Um, heck yes! I've got some creative friends and some of my favorite projects I've ever made came from a collaborative challenge. Like my three leg, One Board End Table and my Wood and Acrylic Bathroom Shelf.

We're getting close to finally finishing the bathroom friends. Most of the big stuff is out of the way. In my "Part 1" blog post I showed the floor plan and identified the walls that we were planing to move. Last week I shared my custom tile shower and today I'm moving to the other side of the room - the water closet.

So where did we leave off friends? I think the last time I talked to you about Modern Master Bath remodel I was sharing the building plans for my double vanity. The bathroom remodel is SO close to being done! All that is left is to build the linen closet and touch up paint. The showstopper of the whole makeover is the new custom tile shower we installed and that's what I'm focusing on today.

I have a problem friends.
My shop (A.K.A. my half of the two car garage), is a disaster. I desperately need more storage and organization. My husband is a maker too (cars, not wood) and we are just running out of room! I've been dying for a mobile workbench that I can assemble my furniture on but I had no idea where I would store it. I started brainstorming and decided I could create a folding or collapsible workbench that could be stashed out of the way when not in use.

Hi friends! Has this year been kicking your butt too? I had the hardest time getting back into the swing of things after the holidays. I'm guessing I'm not alone. It's just so hard to get motivated when it's cold and dark outside.
To get me by, I've been focusing on smaller, indoor projects. I love smaller builds! Sometimes you don't want to spend days in the garage. It's fun to have something you can bust out in a single afternoon and hang it up right away.

I have been up to my eyeballs in a bathroom remodel friends! Like most big projects, it's taken us much longer than expected. Back in October I shared the before photos and my design inspiration. My husband and I have done all the work ourselves, which means we've had to squeeze work hours into nights and weekends.

I'm usually a HUGE procrastinator, but I' actually planning ahead for once in my life. I just happen to know that my boys will be getting a few small collectibles for Christmas next week. (I have an "in" at the North Pole). Until now, I've been the mean mom and haven't really caved on collectibles like Tsum Tsums and Shopkins. I have a low tolerance for clutter, so the idea of welcoming dozens of little tchotchkes into my house gives me hives.

Christmas is less than a week away. Are you in a total scramble mode yet? I got a late start on my decorations this year. I sweet talked my husband into helping set up the Christmas tree a few days ago, but we didn't have a tree skirt to put on it. If you're a procrastinator like me, no worries! I've got an easy tutorial that will give you something I think is even better than a boring old skirt.

I chose my blog name, Pneumatic Addict, after being inspired by my favorite power tool, the brad nailer. A very close second is the impact driver. I love those little guys! I can honestly say I use an impact driver on almost every project. If you're interested in learning what's the difference between an impact driver and a power drill, check out this blog post all about drills.
I currently own 5 different impact drivers, all from different manufacturers. If you are on a budget, I'd hands down recommend the new brushless impact from Ryobi.

My mom had to work full time when I was a kid, so my brother and I spent a lot of time together, just the two of us. Summer breaks could become pretty long and once we re-watched Ghostbusters about 5 times, we would break out the board games. One of our favorites was and still is Mancala.

I love me some West Elm! I hit up their website all the time looking for "inspiration". In fact, I actually just built an 8 ft long console table for my sister that was influenced by a West Elm piece. Although I love the modern West Elm style, I'm not a fan of their prices.

My sister Emily is awesome. Her awesome husband recently retired from the Air Force after twenty years of service, and like many military families, they have made huge sacrifices and have moved all over the world. It's been years since their family had a house they could call their own. They finally have been able to buy a gorgeous new home and settle down close to me.

I shared my hall bathroom makeover with you guys last week and the response has been great! Thank you guys! I'm glad you liked it. I was able to complete that transformation in one weekend, but I'm currently working on a MASSIVE project that is going to take me significantly longer.
About a month ago my husband and I started a "down to the studs" remodel of our master bath. It's not been easy friends, but I'm convinced that it will be worth it. Up to this point, we've been working on things that I need my husband's help with (demo, framing, plumbing, etc.) so we pretty much only get one day a week to work on it.

If you've seen any of my recent Instagram Stories, you'll know that we are neck deep in a total, down to the studs remodel of our master bathroom. It's going to be SO good guys! I'm really close to sharing the first part with you. I promise I will have the first reveal up soon!
In the meantime, we only have one other bathroom in the house, which means my husband and I are going to be sharing the hall bath with my kids for the next couple of months. I decided to give the space a much needed, quick update. The biggest goal was to cover the walls and make clean-up easier (anyone with little boys knows what I'm talking about).

Judging by Facebook and Instagram, you guys seem to love my new black doors as much as I do. Thank you! If you missed the reveal earlier this week, make sure to check it out. The black paint is dramatic and definitely eye catching, but I think the upgraded casing and cornice are even prettier in person. It was much easier to get this look than you might think! Today I'm sharing how you make your door trim a whole lot fancier.

Oh man! Last Friday officially marked 2 years since we bought our new house. It took a couple of months to finish remodeling the kitchen so we didn't move in right away, but still, time has flown by! When we first walked through the house, I had big plans in my head. I had plans to replace the obvious stuff like the dated appliances and chipping countertops, but I also wanted to upgrade things other people may not have noticed. My husband thought it was ridiculous to replace "perfectly fine" doors just because I didn't like the pattern. I mean, how much difference can the shape of a door make? A big one my friends
